Se amplia el plazo de inscripción para el sorteo de becas ofrecidas por America International en colaboración con la Federación Catalana de Tenis. El nuevo plazo de inscripción queda abierto hasta el día 9 de Julio, dando la oportunidad a aquellos tenistas que no hayan visto publicada la noticia de optar a una de las becas sorteadas. Recordamos nuevamente el enlace a las bases del sorteo:

 America International en colaboración con la Federación Catalana de Tenis, ofrece a jóvenes estudiantes-deportistas de toda Catalunya la oportunidad de participar en el sorteo de dos becas para cursar sus estudios universitarios en Estados Unidos.
El plazo de inscripción estará abierto hasta el viernes 19 de junio y el sorteo se celebrará el sábado 19 de junio, tras la prueba académica y deportiva que todo participante deberá hacer en las instalaciones de la FTC.

Thanks to the agreement between the The Andalucia Tennis Federation and America International, young student-athletes from all over Andalucia between 16 and 19 years old, will have the opportunity to participate in the drawing for two scholarships to study in a university in USA. The deadline is open until March 26 and the drawing will be held on Saturday March 26th, following the academic and athletic test and tryouts which participants must do at the FATENIS facilities.  Armando Estévez has been named to the 2009 Fall Semester Dean´s List for outstanding academic achievement and dedication where he currently pursues his university studies, Concord University in Athens, West Virginia. Additionally, Armando enjoys a tennis scholarship, successfully representing his team with important victories and a record of 15-4. |

The match was decided in a tight third set after a long match, with the final result of 6-4, 3-6 and 10-8. |
