The Andalucia Tennis Federación draws two college athletic scholarships in U.S.A |

Thanks to the agreement between the The Andalucia Tennis Federation and America International, young student-athletes from all over Andalucia between 16 and 19 years old, will have the opportunity to participate in the drawing for two scholarships to study in a university in USA. The deadline is open until March 26 and the drawing will be held on Saturday March 26th, following the academic and athletic test and tryouts which participants must do at the FATENIS facilities.  Armando Estévez has been named to the 2009 Fall Semester Dean´s List for outstanding academic achievement and dedication where he currently pursues his university studies, Concord University in Athens, West Virginia. Additionally, Armando enjoys a tennis scholarship, successfully representing his team with important victories and a record of 15-4. |

 Freshman player from Murcia Laura Vergara meets the expectations of the Palomnio´s coach, Don Juan to beat number one ranked Paige Rachel of St.Edward 's University.
The match was decided in a tight third set after a long match, with the final result of 6-4, 3-6 and 10-8. |

 The Fresno Pacific women's tennis team took its dominance to another level Sunday. Fresno Pacific, ranked No. 2 in the NAIA, defeated NCAA Division I school UC Santa Barbara 5-2.
Katia Sabate, Cristina Valladares, Sara Celma, and Erika Januskova all got wins for the Sunbirds, who are seeking their 58th straight win when Fresno Pacific plays at Point Loma Nazarene. A Fresno Pacific win would tie the record for consecutive wins in the Golden State Athletic Conference. |

 El equipo de tenis masculino de la Universidad de Memphis mejora su ranking esta temporada gracias a sus dos victorias logradas durante el fin de semana pasado. El viernes 19 de febrero, los Tigers superaron a los Rhodes en el rally de su ciudad, 7-0, en las instalaciones de tennis de Rhodes en Memphis. La universidad de Memphis añadio victorias al superar a Alabama el Sabado, 20.
En el puesto número 2, los recién llegados Michael Janz y John Taylor obtuvieron dos victorias, ganando a Jonathan Moreno y Brad Pennington de Rhodes, 8-4 el viernes. El sabado, ganaron nuevamante a Clint Jonhson y Jan Miskos de UNA, 8-5 |

Rollins rolled through doubles and won all but one singles match in straight sets as the 10th-ranked Tars defeated Brandeis University 8-1. Rollins got started quickly with three victories in doubles play. Arturo Baravalle and Girts Dzelde defeated Michale Tatarsky and Steven Neiman 8-3 in the No. 2. It was more of the same in singles play with the Tars taking five of the six match-ups. Baravalle picked up a 7-5, 6-0 win over Rozenshteyn at No. 3. |
