The Academic Year Program offered by America International allows students to follow a course of secondary education at Schiller Academy, in Tampa Bay, Florida. Sports training will take place from 2:00pm – 5:00pm in the afternoon. The program can be extended with the availability of visits as well as entrance exams to American universities throughout the country. Secondary education program This high school level education program takes place at Schiller Academy in Tampa Bay, Florida. 4 academic courses corresponding to the secondary education level of the American education system can be attended. These classes are equivalent to 3º, 4º ESO y 1º, 2º Bachiller, in America, high school. The daily class schedule will be from 9am-2:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Lodging and Meals Student / Athlete accommodations will be with American host families. Meals will also be provided by the family. 
University Entrance Exams The TOEFL and SAT exams are mandatory requirements for foreign students who wish to be admitted into an American college or university in the U.S.A. America International registers and drives students/athletes to these exams. These examinations are held in different schools throughout Tampa Bay area. Students/athletes can be tested as many as seven times per calendar year on the S.A.T. exam if they wish, whereas the T.O.E.F.L examination takes place once every month. Training and TournamentsSpecific training in each sport is available o Our tennis players will train 3 hours per day, Monday through Friday from 2:45 – 5:45 in the McMullen Tennis complex in Clearwater, Florida. This sports complex is considered one of the top 5 best training centers in all of the United States. They will also participate in 2 tournaments per month, as part of the U.S.T.A. (United States Tennis Association). o For those who choose golf: This particular class will be 2 hours per week, taught by an American Golf Pro. The Featherland Sound Country Club and the Country Side Country Club will be available for play. Both are very nice, 18 hole, par 72 golf courses. o For those who choose soccer: Training will take place at facilities in Clearwater, close to the school where classes are held. Starting Dates Academic courses last for 9 months, and begin in August or January. Visits to Universities Participants of this program will visit at least 8 universities in Florida and Georgia, as to know exactly what an American university is like. These visits are organized by America International and will occur throughout the student/athletes stay (the first two weeks of September and the first two weeks in April, approximately). The expenses which will occur during these trips, such as meals and lodging, will be the responsibility of the student/athletes; transportation expenses will be covered by America International. These visits are a fundamental part of the program and will have to be made by all participants. Scholarship Guarantee. Female tennis players will be guaranteed a 100% scholarship, while men will receive between 75-100% scholarship guarantee. The only requirement will be the completion and satisfactory results necessary for acceptance by the University.
